The Support Care Assistant/Direct Support Professional performs various services involving the care and treatment of persons with developmental disabilities, mental illness, physical disabilities and/or geriatric care. Care and treatment include bathing, nail/skin care, dressing/undressing, dental and other personal hygiene, meal preparation, assisting with transportation needs, executing support plans, patient communication and reports.
